Day 195 of 365

Decided to try something static tonight after several days of experimentation. The Scott Kelby World Wide Photo Walk is this Saturday so I wanted to make sure I can still take just a regular photo. Grabbed a wicker basket that I've been eying because of the nice patterns and worked with my new light setup.

Very nice! Wicker always makes for fun patterns and angles when experimenting! :)

Love your last few days of images, Rob! These wicker pics seem a cut above the rest, not only in lighting, but in the the use composition, texture, shape, line and form. Nice! Now you've got me curious... what's your new light setup?

Best regards, tim.

Thanks Jason & Tim :)

Tim...my new light setup is the homemade light grid made from PVC pipes pictured on Day 191. Having the ability to hang my work lights from up high has helped with some lighting issues I was having. I also created a snoot, which is just a piece of black card stock paper taped to the end of one of my work lights to direct the light straight out like a spot light. The light on the left in the Day 191 photo has the snoot on it.
