Day 68 of 365

The nice thing about daylight savings time is the additional light after work. Since I have class Monday and Wednesday night I either have to try and get a photo in during the day or wait till after class and do something in my lightbox. Today walking from one class to another I walked by a bench and found the way the shadows crossed the straight wood slats interesting.

I was just reading blogs before going to sleep and noticed that Scott Kelby linked you on his Photoshop Insider Blog, wow! Too cool, keep up the great work Rob!

I'm a little speechless...who would have thunk my learning to use my camera better would have someone like Scott Kelby giving it a little praise. I think I can justify my 50mm 1.8 purchase now :)

Thanks for the heads up Michael...I read his blog but just may have missed that part.

I've just wandered over from Scott's blog and wanted to say I enjoy your work and the concept of this blog. I will be adding you to my RSS feed and checking in often.

Nice prop from "The Man Himself" - SK! Your traffic is sure to spike as a result, and deservedly so. Keep the pics coming! This one is a great example of shadows and light well composed!

You should consider using Genuine Fractals or Blow Up to resize your photos before posting them to your blog to avoid artifacts from resizing. It's a great product!
