I'm up on the air on this also. I'm trying to figure out what would be the main focus. By default I would think it was the staircase but the light falling on the plant/vegetation to the right seems to fight for attention as well.
Most probably not the worlds best stair shot but you just have to love the line and angle combinations, horizontal to left diagonal then a switch to the right. It works on angle alone, shade is just a plus is all.

I'm ambivalent.... I don't think it hasn't worked but it doesn't strike me as "wow, those lines work well". I like the concept!
Thanks guys. I was attracted by the lines and angles. A 1/4 way into my 365 so figured a little exploration may be fun. :)
