Wanted to see how sea glass would look if lit from below. All right I guess if you like sea glass. I'd like to figure out a way so not as much actual light comes through the spaces between the pieces of glass.
Used the 70-300mm at 263mm (macro mode), 1/30 sec, f/18, ISO 100

What if you offset the lamp below the glass, and put some dark paper directly behind the sea glass so it's illuminated from an angle, but you see the black paper in all the gaps? Just a thought - not sure exactly what your set up is...
