Looking at this pepper earlier while making dinner made me decide to try and emulate Edward Weston's famous pepper photo. I decided to keep it in color because while mine is a pepper like Mr. Weston's his was more about the lighting and shape, in my opinion, and I find mine more about the color and less about the shape.

Very cool. Kind of dark again, but then again it's good to have a signature style, so the fact that I would have added a bit more light doesn't really have to mean anything to you.
Oh, and a compliment. When this came up in my reader I thought for a second that I was reading Strobist!
Thanks for retaining the colour the tinge of red comes through like diamonds in the soil or gold specks in a stream.

I think until I get around to getting a true strobist kit my images may be a bit on the darker side as I'm adapting my style to what equipment I have and trying to push the boundaries as far as I can with it.
